Role: Relationship Manager – Business Development (Hyderabad)
As a Relationship Manager in Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in growing our client base, nurturing relationships, and closing sales deals in the Hyderabad region. You will be the face of TradeIndia for local businesses – particularly SMEs – helping them leverage our platform to generate leads, expand markets and grow digitally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, visit and onboard new SME clients in the Hyderabad / Telangana region, understanding their needs and presenting TradeIndia’s solutions.

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to drive renewals, upsells and referrals.

  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by effectively negotiating and closing deals.

  • Maintain accurate records of client visits, sales pipeline and activity in the CRM system.

  • Handle client queries, complaints and feedback to maintain high client satisfaction and retention.

  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, support) to ensure seamless client onboarding and ensure clients benefit fully from the platform.

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity and SME pain-points to position our offerings more effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-5 years of sales/business development experience, preferably in B2B, platform-sales or SME solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicate clearly and negotiate effectively.

  • Familiarity with field sales or visit-based client acquisition in Hyderabad / Telangana is a strong plus.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to travel locally.

  • Proficient in English and local language (Telugu / Hindi) – comfortable in client-facing roles.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-obsession and the ability to handle objections and close deals.
